The Portal

I wanted to show off this new little piece available. This rather contemporary looking form is actually based on an ancient Caddo bottle. Some had one hole with 2 arms to the top, some actually were split in 3 with a bisecting hole. Loved this little challenge and made for a very interesting , but traditional, design. I call this first one, 'The Portal'. Approx 6.5 inches tall, traditional materials and methods, pitfired, engraved after firing.
